PARENT PARTICIPATION
Parent involvement is an important component of the Dual Language Immersion Program. Parents become active participants in the education of their child by volunteering their time. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to contribute to their children's learning. Parents may be a part of the school English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), School Site Council, Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) or may volunteer in the classroom.
Program participants and their families are expected to make a minimum commitment of six years (Kindergarten-5th grade) to fully benefit from the Dual Language Immersion Program.
